Brandon
Washington
President
Brandon is a first generation student at the University of Southern California. This past summer he interned at Boston Consulting Group and wants to use his knowledge in business to continue the organizations mission of providing college application counseling for the underserved community in LA. He hopes that the students that come through the program receive adequate coaching and can leave feeling more confident in their future career - both in school and out.

Catherine Kim
Director of Marketing
Catherine is currently a junior at USC studying human biology and communication. She grew up in Denver, Colorado, but currently lives in Irvine, CA. When she’s not busy juggling academic and extracurricular commitments, she enjoys cooking, reading, binge watching Netflix, and cafe hopping!

Ryan is a student at USC studying Business and concentrating in Finance. He was raised in Tokyo, Japan and enjoys traveling to new places. In his free time, he enjoys playing card games, basketball and running.
Shivam Ghandi
VP of Internal Relations
Shivam is from Washington D.C. and is a junior studying biomedical engineering. In his free time he likes to play basketball and watch movies. He also enjoys exploring LA and trying different food. He got involved with AcceptED since it was an organization that has a direct impact in the community and connects USC students to the residents of LA.
Zuoning Zhang
VP of Public Relations
Zuoning is a Sophomore majoring in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. He joined AcceptED to try to create an impact on students that lack access to higher education. In his free time, he likes coding, playing soccer, and playing tennis.

Farisha Sultan
VP of External Relations
Farisha Sultan, pronouns are she/her/hers, is a junior majoring in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. She is from Atlanta, GA, and she is currently the Vice President of External Relations for AcceptED this year. She is a first generation college student who joined AcceptED to give students in the community guidance on the college application process that she wished she had! Being a part of this organization and guiding her mentees throughout the college application process has been extremely rewarding and gratifying.

Naomi Abadi
VP of Finance
Naomi Abadi is a senior this year majoring in Economics and minoring in Real Estate Development. She was born in Maryland, lived in Ethiopia for 10 years and and is now pursuing her studies in Los Angeles at USC! She spent this summer interning at a Commercial Real Estate firm in LA by the name Roman Group as an acquisitions analyst. She joined acceptED because she understand how daunting and biased the college application process can be, especially for members of underserved communities like that surrounding USC. The support, guidance and access resources acceptED offers can change the entire route of a student’s life. Through her work on the e-board she aims to help set a strong foundation for these students and be their support system.
Sophia Smith
VP of External Relations
Sophia is originally from Palos Verdes Estates, California. She is a senior at the University of Southern California studying Communications. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, musical theater, and sudoku. Sophia is very excited to help students work towards their dream schools and pursue higher education!
