Through AcceptED, students will gain insight into the college process from a diverse team of college students. Our coaches have a variety of backgrounds and experiences in applying to college that will help them guide students through the process with perspective, understanding, and expertise. They will be trained through an extensive onboarding process that will prepare them to deliver a successful curriculum. Through small group and one-on-one coaching, our students will gain critical skills and resources for the college application process and their future in higher education.

Our students’ needs are our utmost priority throughout the program. We will cater to their needs and personalize each curriculum to fit the goals of each student. Our college coaches all bring unique experiences and motivations to help these students, so rest assured, every student is in good hands. Our college coaches have gone through background checks, interviews, and training that certifies their qualifications and will provide top-notch service for our students.
Everyone has great college essays in them— it’s all about finding formative experiences in your life and communicating them clearly. You don’t have to have been published in three academic journals to show you’re passionate about something!

OUR CURRICULUM.
Our curriculum aims to provide a holistic resource for low-income students applying to colleges. The first and most important part of applying to college is choosing what colleges to apply to. We will assess the student’s ambitions and goals and recommend colleges that align with their aspirations. Then, we will support students from the brainstorming stages to final submissions of their essay, by providing provisions and recommendations throughout. Additionally, we will help assess the financial capabilities of the students’ families and provide financial aid and scholarship resources to help them afford the right college. Lastly, we will incorporate lessons around soft skills that were hand-picked by our college counselors and provide those resources for our students to hold onto, so that they can leave our program with confidence and poise.
