APPLICATION WILL GO LIVE

FALL 2021.

Apply to be an Education Consultant, where you will meet with high schoolers bi-weekly to coach them through the college application process. The time commitment is 1-3 hours per week, where there will be one 1-hour AcceptED meeting per week, alternating between general USC member meetings – where the Curriculum Development Committee will give you agendas for the week and general club updates – and meetings with your high schooler(s).

FAQ.

What is the time commitment like?

1-3 hours. There will be a weekly 1-hour meeting that alternates between meeting with club members and meeting with the high school students you are paired with. The extra 2 hours in the time estimation account for adding more personalized touches to your curriculum, meeting more often with your high schooler, etc.

How will meetings be conducted during COVID-19?

LAUSD schools are being conducted fully online, so our weekly meetings will be held over Zoom.

How will I be paired with a high school student(s)?

Once you join the team as an Education Consultant, we will learn more about how you applied to colleges and what areas of the process you are more well-equipped to teach. We will pair you with a high school student – or more – based on your shared needs and interests.

What schools and organizations are we partnering with?

We are currently forming partnerships with high schools, including Ramón C. Cortinez School for Visual and Performing Arts and the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies. We are forming curriculum partnerships with the Princeton Review, Illumina, and the USC Neighborhood Academic Initiative.
